Recognize this young man? He grew up to be our very own Mr. Tyler! Tyler was away on National Custodians Day, but we couldn't let the celebration pass without honoring our wonderful daytime custodian. Tyler keeps our school clean and welcoming, helping wherever he is needed and builds connections with our students that make him a favorite around here. Thank you Mr. Tyler for taking such great care of our school and our Bears!

Happy National Instructional Coaches Day!
Today we are proud to recognize Mrs. Spicer, Roosevelt's Instructional Coach! An instructional coach works alongside teachers to stregnthen teaching and learning throughout the school. That can mean helping plan, modeling strategies, looking at data, teaching in classrooms, coordinating interventions, helping problem-solve, and making sure students receive the right support. At Roosevelt, Shelley does all of that AND MORE.
Much of an instructional coach's work happens behind the scenes, but the impact reaches every classroom. Thank you Shelley for everything you do to support our teachers, students, and Roosevelt Community.
