Who is ready for the next preschool year?! We have been hard at work preparing for our new little group of explorers and planning out all of the new adventures! If you are already enrolled, we can’t wait to see you! And if you haven’t enrolled yet, we would love to set up a tour!

Our Preschool Classes are:
Monday- Friday
8:00 am- 12:00 pm

What an absolutely beautiful ending to an absolutely beautiful school year. Our year end barbecue was so emotional as I watched students move on to kindergarten and said “see you in September “ to our returning students. After the last gathering of the year, I came inside, sat down, reflected, and cried… a lot. No one ever thinks about the bond that teachers make with their students. Here at Natural Wonders, we offer a special and unique experience because we are in home. I have found that what happens with our students is that we offer the perfect gap between a life at home and big kid school. Our students and their families become an extension of our own family and the impacts made are mutual. While I get the opportunity to teach my students, they too teach me… they teach me how to be patient, how to care, how to embrace different personalities and learning styles, and each and every year, my students teach me how to be a better teacher.

A look at our frogs and pond unit. The kids had such a fun time with all of our very hands on and interactive activities. We worked on shape recognition, letter and number recognition, measurement, 1:1 correspondence, color recognition, sight words, patterns, rhymes, syllables, and so much more! And the we got to wrap it up with a walk to the pond to see first hand what we have been learning about.

When people ask “so all they do is play all day?” We learn nearly everything we need to through play… number sense, addition and subtraction, letter recognition, letter sounds, phonological awareness, science observation, science documentation, fine motor skills, gross motor skills, cooperation, negotiations, emotional regulation, problem solving, sensory play, daily life skills, money sense, and so much more!
