Kira and not only am the Director of Sunny Creations Child Development but also the main one you will see working with your kiddos. I hold a Bachelors in Early Childhood Education and Family Studies from Southern Oregon University and have been working with kids since middle school. I have worked as a Teaching Associate in a Kindergarten classroom, I have been a Substitute, worked as an aide in gr

ades preschool through third, I have been a one-on-one aid for special needs and I have been the Vice President on a school board. Needless to say, I love working with kids! I have two amazing kiddos myself that I love to watch and help grow into the humans they are today. I love to bring nature indoors and find it important that kiddos get the chance to get dirty and explore the world that they have been given. My philosophy for Sunny Creations Child Development is to cultivate a love for learning through hands on experiences, peer interaction, small class sizes, exploration and imagination. We want to promote the connection between home and school for your three and four year olds. Kiddos have a voice and we want it to be used in a constructive way creating their learning environment. This is the first steps of the learning journey and we want to grow the inquisitive minds of these young kiddos. I can’t wait to meet everyone and help them through this journey of a life!

This will be the last market of the season for Wildflower Henna! Lauren is one of our Young Entrepreneurs and she's been doing Henna tattoos for us all Summer. Come on down to market this week and let her make some beautiful art on you before she wraps up her season and heads off to high school!

✨☀️A Little Classroom Magic ✨☀️

There’s something about a brand-new school year that makes my teacher heart ridiculously happy. Fresh crayons, tiny pencils, new books, art supplies, sensory goodies… basically all the things that make a classroom feel like a little world of its own.

As I get ready for another year at Sunny Creations, I’ve put together an Amazon wish list with some of the things that will help fill our classroom with learning, creating, exploring, and LOTS of little-kid magic. 🖍️📚🧩🎨

My kids saw another giant box on the porch and immediately gave me the look.

“Mom… what did you order now?” 😂

I swear they were convinced I’d made another one of my late-night “this seemed like a great idea at midnight” purchases.

But this box was way more magical.
