Sunny Creations Child Development A child development program for kiddos ages 1-5 to learn in a nurturing environment through experience, exploration, and creativity. My name is Ms.

Kira and not only am the Director of Sunny Creations Child Development but also the main one you will see working with your kiddos. I hold a Bachelors in Early Childhood Education and Family Studies from Southern Oregon University and have been working with kids since middle school. I have worked as a Teaching Associate in a Kindergarten classroom, I have been a Substitute, worked as an aide in grades preschool through third, I have been a one-on-one aid for special needs and I have been the Vice President on a school board. Needless to say, I love working with kids! I have two amazing kiddos myself that I love to watch and help grow into the humans they are today. I love to bring nature indoors and find it important that kiddos get the chance to get dirty and explore the world that they have been given. My philosophy for Sunny Creations Child Development is to cultivate a love for learning through hands on experiences, peer interaction, small class sizes, exploration and imagination. We want to promote the connection between home and school for your three and four year olds. Kiddos have a voice and we want it to be used in a constructive way creating their learning environment. This is the first steps of the learning journey and we want to grow the inquisitive minds of these young kiddos. I can’t wait to meet everyone and help them through this journey of a life!

And just like that… our first week of preschool is DONE! ☀️

What a week it has been! So many little moments of curiosity, laughter, learning, exploring, and getting comfortable in our new space. Watching these kiddos walk through the doors and begin making this place their own has been such a beautiful reminder of why I do what I do. 💛

And behind this first week is a whole lot of love, encouragement, hard work, and people cheering me on.

The help, support, kind words, donated supplies, extra hands, and little reminders that I could do this have meant more than I can put into words. Sunny Creations may be small, but this little community has been mighty. ☀️

Thank you to everyone who helped me get here, believed in this dream, and continues to cheer me on.

Week one was a success… and we’re just getting started. 🌻

This will be the last market of the season for Wildflower Henna! Lauren is one of our Young Entrepreneurs and she's been doing Henna tattoos for us all Summer. Come on down to market this week and let her make some beautiful art on you before she wraps up her season and heads off to high school!
