We welcomed a brand new chick into the world right in our incubator! Watching that first crack and hatch was such a special moment the kids won’t forget 💛

The eggs have arrived!

We had the sweetest time celebrating our wonderful Montessori Assistant, Ms. Meghan, as she prepares to welcome her baby boy 💙👶

Our team showered her with love, laughter, lunch, and a few special surprises to help her get ready for this exciting new chapter. We are so incredibly happy for her and can’t wait to meet the newest addition!

Our Montessori students are invited to join us for a magical Polar Express Day! Children may come in their cozy pajamas as we enjoy themed activities, hot cocoa, and a festive holiday adventure together. ✨

This week, our students have been diving into fall learning adventures! We read a cozy story all about apples and the changing seasons, then headed outside to observe the trees — and even gave one a big tree hug to show our appreciation for nature! 🌳💛

Inside the classroom, we’ve been learning about the parts of a tree and soon will be studying the parts of an apple. The best part? We tasted different types of apples to discover which one is our favorite! 🍏🍎🍯

It’s been a week full of curiosity, hands-on learning, and joyful discovery.

🌿 Spotlight on Montessori Materials: The Brown Stairs 🌿

In our classrooms, children work with the Brown Stairs — a classic Montessori material made up of 10 prisms, all the same length but varying in thickness.

✨ What are they?
The prisms are arranged from thickest to thinnest, helping children develop an understanding of size, dimension, and spatial awareness.

✨ The Benefits:
-Builds visual discrimination (the ability to notice differences in width/size)
-Strengthens fine motor coordination as children carefully carry and place each prism
-Prepares the mind for later concepts in geometry and math
