🌊 Science in action in 3rd grade! 🌍

Mrs. Ritza’s 3rd grade students have been learning about ecosystems and how animals depend on land and water to survive. Students became “oceanographers” and simulated an oil spill, working to clean up the water and help the animals affected.

They experienced the challenges of cleaning up an environmental disaster and reflected on the importance of protecting our ecosystems. 🌎

On Monday, September 28th, our St. Mary Titan Cheerleaders are heading to Providence Catholic High School for a fun night of football, cheering, and time together!

We’re excited to see our Titans cheering under the lights and bringing plenty of school spirit to the game! 📣💙

We were missing a few Titans from the building over the last few days as Andrew, Leah, Sarah, Evelyn, Lillian and Stanley traveled to St. Louis to witness the historic beatification of Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen.

Not only did they proudly wear their St. Mary gear, but they also carried their St. Mary family in their prayers. What a beautiful reminder that even when we are apart, we remain connected in faith.

Blessed Fulton J. Sheen, pray for us. 🙏

🍎 A Recipe for Learning! 🍎

Mrs. Baltuska and Ms. Chamberlin’s 1st grade students put their learning into action by making homemade applesauce!👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

Using their cookbooks, students wrote the steps for making applesauce, followed their recipes, and then practiced the hardest part of all… waiting 4 hours to enjoy it! 😋

Once it was ready, our they enjoyed their applesauce and even shared some with our staff! 💙🤍

📦✨ It’s Not a Box! ✨📦

Our 4th grade students in Mrs. Cantinella’s STEAM classes put their creativity to work with a project called “Not a Box!”

Students learned how to create origami boxes and then challenged themselves to transform their boxes into something completely different. From imagination to innovation, our Titans proved that a box can be so much more than a box! 💡🎨
