Mokena Educational Foundation

🍎 New school year, new year of giving.

The Mokena Educational Foundation is heading into another year serving Mokena District 159 — Mokena Elementary, Mokena Intermediate, and Mokena Junior High.

Here's what your support paid for last year:

✏️ A STEAM Family Night at MES with the DuPage Children's Museum
🖨️ A 3D printer for the tech department
📚 Decodable book libraries for our youngest readers
🌍 The annual Geography Bee at Mokena Junior High
☕ Breakfast for teachers and staff at all three schools, kicking off District 159 Staff Appreciation Week
🎓 Nearly $9,000 in scholarships to 14 Mokena students

Every dollar of it came from this community. Flower baskets, raffle baskets, graduation signs, photo sessions, and neighbors who simply decided to give.

We're just getting started on 2026–2027. Follow along here — and if you've ever wondered where the money actually goes, keep watching. We're going to show you.
