A HUGE Union Rocket "Thank You" to Mr. Paul Johnson from Johnson's Family Plumbing, who was the first in our series of Career Speakers to speak to our seniors. Paul is a 1995 graduate of Union High School, and a former student of mine. I also had the privilege to coach Paul in wrestling.

Paul did an excellent job explaining career paths in plumbing and expressing the need for licensed plumbers. Did you know that for every 10 plumbers that are retiring, only 2 are coming into the profession?

Thanks to Paul Johnson for taking the time to come in this week. We greatly appreciated it.

We are SO proud of our 3rd Grade Rockets! 💙💛

Our 3rd Grade (2025-2026) class has officially passed the IREAD test—and they didn't just pass… they placed #1 in the county! 🏆📚🎉

What an incredible accomplishment for our students and their teacher! This achievement is a reflection of their hard work, determination, growth, and love of learning. We couldn't be more elated of the effort that they put in and the success they achieved!

Attention Rockets! 🚀👟🏐🏌️‍♂️

Senior Sports Banners and Fall Sports Team Pictures will be taken on Friday, August 28th. Pictures will be taken in the high school gym starting at 3:15pm. Union will pay for the banners and team pictures. Any individual pictures will be on the athlete or parent/guardian to purchase. Information on pricing will be available at the high school office this week.

There will be no junior high athletic practices today, 8/14. High school cross country and high school volleyball will practice today at 3pm on a voluntary basis.
