The Stanislaus County Office of Education is proud of the county-wide Student Events Program. Designed to encourage achievement among 4th grade through 12th grade students, events range from Music Festivals to the Academic Decathlon. SCOE designated personnel reserve the right to remove comments and postings that are uncivil to others, contain profanity or contain advertisements other than SCOE programs

USAD is excited to announce the 2026-2027 Theme! Journeys of Transformation: An Exploration of Travel and Transportation. Outlines for the new topic will be released in April.

Every year, the Stanislaus County Office of Education sponsors our local high school California Mock Trial competition - a statewide program that simulates a criminal trial and gives students the opportunity to gain a unique perspective into the operation of our Justice System. This year, ten local high schools sent teams to compete, with students acting as court staff, witnesses, jurors and lawyers presenting the case to real judges in real courtrooms. Their performances – which were universally outstanding – were a culmination of months of hard work and preparation. The Stanislaus County District Attorney’s Office is proud to support this important program. Our attorneys not only volunteered as scorers, but many members of our office also dedicated their time to work as coaches for these aspiring students. We are so proud of these students, and we are honored to be a part of their educational journeys. Given the impressive performances we see every year, it is safe to say there are exceptional future lawyers in this very talented group! Congratulations to the teachers, coaches, and most of all, the students who participated in the 2025-2026 Mock Trial competition!
