The jury returned a unanimous decision this morning at Civil court in favor of Genevieve Huizar!

Among the nine people arrested is Frank Carson, the owner of two homes on 9th Street in Turlock -- one of those is where Kauffman was believed to have been killed, according to a criminal affidavit.
Carson is a prominent criminal defense attorney in Modesto, who ran for Stanislaus County District Attorney in 2014.

Walter Wells, Scott McFarlane and Eduardo Quintanar Jr., all California Highway Patrol officers, were also arrested in Kauffman's death and face conspiracy charges, the affidavit stated.
