You’re Invited: Lunch with a Loved One Tuesday May 19

Save the Date for our special Lunch with a Loved One on Tuesday, May 19! We are excited to welcome families to campus for a fun picnic-style lunch with their scholars during their child’s lunch block. We look forward to creating a memorable afternoon together!

STEAM Families, please take note -- we will have a MINIMUM DAY on TUESDAY for Open House. Wednesday is also a MINIMUM DAY, and the last Wednesday minimum day of the year.

Sylvan STEAM showed up and showed out—taking home ALL district attendance prizes and surpassing the 95% attendance goal!

We are incredibly grateful to our amazing families and scholars for showing up each day ready to learn, grow, and have fun.

We’re excited to share that families within the Sylvan Union School District can now apply for 2026 California Sun Bucks benefits!

The Sunbucks program is a new grocery benefit program that helps combat childhood hunger in California, providing up to $120 for each eligible school-aged child during the summer for groceries. It's easy to apply — and you don’t need to create an account!

Sylvan STEAM families are invited to join us for our Science Family Night on Tuesday, March 17 from 6:00–7:30 PM! Come explore science together with a mini assembly and exciting science demonstrations designed to spark curiosity and fun for the whole family.

Stanislaus County Library will provide an informational table focused on their Summer Reading Program. They will also highlight that March is “Spring into STEAM” at all Stanislaus County Libraries. Families can visit www.stanlibrary.org to see the full list of programs and can check out a Project STEAM kit anytime with a library card.

Our school counselor will be available with helpful family resources.

Bonus Fun:
Thanks to our PTO, families can enter raffles for prize baskets. Each STEAM students and kid may receive one free cookie (while supplies last).
