For those who are unfamiliar…. SafeKids Coalition is an organization that works with local agencies to provide safety education to the youth in the community. Our locals main focus areas include Bike and pedestrian safety, water safety, car seats, and recently added sleep safe!

In addition to providing all of your certification classes, most of our staff is now or has been highly involved in Peer Support teams, so please don’t feel alone in 2025, we are here for you if you need to talk or need help accessing more resources.

It’s always helpful to have a real life subject to demonstrate CPR and choking skills!

Anyone who has worked with Kelly Kjelstrom knows…

Kelly was recently asked to teach the La Grange Girl Scout Troop eveything they needed for their First Aid badges. Among other things, we helped them learn how to use the things in a typical first aid kit and call 911 to ask for help.
If you need some resources for teaching your own kids about how to call 911, DM us!

My son Zachary helping teach an ACLS class last Saturday. He sure loves playing with all the medical equipment and helping in class. He’s getting a little too big for me to demonstrate infant skills on. lol.
