Now Hiring: Preschool Director
Grace Lutheran Child Care Center in Modesto is seeking a dedicated and experienced Preschool Director to oversee our day-to-day operations serving infants through school-age children.

Position Details:
Full-time (40 hours/week)
Pay: $22–$28/hour (based on experience)

Requirements:
•Minimum 15 ECE units (including administration coursework)

•16-hour Health & Safety training (or willingness to complete)

•4+ years of experience in a licensed child care facility

•Director qualifications per Community Care Licensing

•CPR & First Aid certified

•Livescan fingerprint clearance, TB test, and immunization records (Tdap & MMR)

•Strong leadership and communication skills

•Must be able to support and model Christian values in the workplace

Responsibilities Include:
•Managing daily preschool operations
•Ensuring licensing and safety compliance
•Supporting and supervising teachers
Implementing curriculum and program standards
•Maintaining a positive, structured learning environment
•Supporting a Christ-centered environment for children and staff

Two teacher positions: Teachers needed for a three/four-year- old class and our four and five- year old’s. A Summer preschool teaching position is a 9-week program and could lead to a fall teaching position if you have the infant course on transcripts.

Teacher needed for an afternoon closing shift working with 2–5-year-olds for the summer program. It is a 9-week program. Morning 7:30am and afternoon shifts starting at 12:00pm-6:00pm
Children in groups or one on one depending on the number of the children.
Summertime is more play with simple activities with our weekly themes.
Dependable and able to lead a class with multi ages
Assist the lead teacher in preparing instructional materials and classroom activities.
Monitor student behavior and provide guidance to promote positive interactions.
Engage with toddlers and young children to facilitate learning through play and structured activities.

Skills:
Seeking a Christian Educator with the following:
Supervising children during activities in the classroom and on the playground.
Keeping the classroom and play areas tidy and sanitized.
Schedules and routines to ensure children have enough physical activity, rest, and playtime.
Dependable and willing to be flexible with schedule changes.
Willing to lead with good organization skills.
Willing to co-teach with others in the classroom.
Quick to respond with smiles and attentive care.
Able to share the love of Jesus to all and teach Bible stories and songs daily.
12 units of early childhood education from the following areas: (a) Child Growth and Development, (b) Child, Family and Community, (c) have a minimum of 12 quarter units of early childhood education from an accredited university or college.

New hires must have completed the fingerprinting process, the child abuse index, and have a health screening with immunization and TB test, Mandated Child Abuse certificate (online 30 days after hire to complete)
