So shaking hands at the start of an FIDE Chess game is mandatory. If you refuse, you automatically forfeit the game according to FIDE rules without making a move! VERY Interesting

July 9th and July 10th, an affordable Chess Camp from 10 am to noonish. RSVP to 209 996 4087. We want beginners and others

On July 11th, come meet a Chess Master. I am hoping to arrive at 10 am. I am uncertain when Ed will arrive. We hope he will find clients who will hire him to improve their chess. He is traveling from Turlock, where he has won the Turlock Open Chess Tournament twice at the Turlock High School.

We have an invitation to the Merced Chess Club to come meet us and perhaps run a round robin tournament or consider organizing one in the future.

Saturday free chess event at the Ripon Library from 2 to 4 pm. We had about 18 players and 3 helpers. If mire come bring your own Chess sets a d join earlier to get a round robin going. Contact me at [email protected] if you want to start a chess camp in your area. I am an affordable chess coordinator looking to train beginners and promote Chess in the Central Valley. Call or text me at 209 284 7676 to get a group small group for Monday to Friday for afternoon educational enrichment. I also teach origami as well. Let's help kids get tactile with their hands, learn good sportsmanship, mentally alert, and learn through story telling. I teach Chess and it's history as well as can train on Microbit so they can learn hard ware and sirftware to prepare to become inventive and creative. If you want engaging and socially active kids, we teach chess in a dialectic manner so plYs may have some banter. They can agree to play at the start to play by touch move with FIDE rules or allow talking moves back as long as both agree but should shake hands a d introduce themselves and after a win or loss amiable say good game. Bring treats and drinks for your kids for the 2 or 3 or 4 hour sessions. Location can be at a Panera Bread location near you or converge on the one on Sisk Road in Modesto. I can bring my chess equipment to teach from. If you want your kids to get a rating bring a system preloaded with Chess Lv100 and we can have them compete against an AI for 100 levels with the highest rating going up to 2600. We can start Monday if I get interest. I can also run activities by Zoom if you are homebound but payme t will need to be after each session or by a hub coordinator of your group.
Have a blessed day of worship and rest!
