The Valley Music Institute starts our fall semester music workshop the week of August 30. Lots of room for everybody, but we need an Adult Singer, hard rock singer, and some teenage musicians. We will perform on our own MainStage, Music in the Plaza and at the fabulous Dying Breed Brewing.

Our Fall semester starts the week of August 30.
Thanks to the generosity of the Modesto New Car Dealers via our T-shirt sales we have some extra scholarships available. We have already given a full year scholarship to one young musician, a semester each to two brothers and three semesters worth to a brother and sister.
If you know someone for whom the tuition is an obstacle to joining our music program, please refer them to me.
The fall semester will include our return to Music in the plaza and the spectacular venue at Dying Breed Brewing.

We continue our post Modstock concert series with the third and final night, tonight at Persuasion Brewing Co. Here is a little bit of what went down last night.
Starting tomorrow, we have 2 1/2 weeks off before our fall semester begins the week of August 30. This semester will include a concert in the plaza, and a return to Dying Breed, which is one of the greatest venues in our area. We had such a great time there last year!

While our ears were still ringing from the Modstock Music Festival we loaded up and took our show to Persuasion Brewing! Food and amazing brews while you listen to music. Here's some of what happened last night and we're doing it again tonight and tomorrow night! We've also got some leftover Modstock T-shirts that we are selling for $10 each and a box of Vintage T-shirts that we are selling for five dollars each.
No rest for the wicked.

Modstock is 100% on starting when it's still cool at 10 AM. Here's all the bands you can hear before it gets too hot. If you have to leave, rest and hydrate, come back when you can, at 7:15 Sounds So Petty performs.
