From Coach McKim:
This isn’t a post I envisioned making anytime soon but here we are. I will no longer be the Varsity boys basketball coach at Beyer High School. I’m leaving by my own decision to pursue other challenges in coaching and basketball.
The only reason I coached was for my players. The passion and drive to win came from wanting them to achieve things they never dreamed were possible at a MCS public school. And we did that! I can’t thank these guys enough for believing in me: Jake, Tanner, Frakes, Neep, Sam, Dylan, Georgie, Jello, Brian, Chris, Gil, Ben, Dom, Jaden, Bam, McKay, James, Tanner S, Isaac, RJ, Jonny, Derrick, Joseph, Gio P, Andrew, Ethan, Dev, Jamal, Prince, Noah R, Noah Y, Marcus, CJ, MarMar, Troy, Reggie, Rodney, Drew, Jordan, Caden.
Thank you to my amazing assistant coaches over the years who were always the balance to my craziness.
Thank you to my AD’s Severe and Corgiat who always had my back no matter what!
Thank you to the amazing families who were so supportive over the years! Especially the Dancer, Po**ck, and Weltmer families. You guys made the early years unforgettable.
I gave it everything I had these 12 years. Hopefully we made a lot of people proud! 🔵🔴🏀
