Today’s Mother's Day Tea was a beautiful celebration of the amazing women in our PKCP community! More than 70 moms, grandmas, aunties, and friends joined us for a sweet afternoon of connection and joy. From the bouquet-making station to the beaded bracelets we got to create, a fun time was had by all! We hope you and your little ones made special memories today. 🤍 Thank you to everyone who made it such a lovely afternoon. We loved celebrating you! 💐

New month, new memory verse. 📖 In May, we’re learning more about how to be forgiving, kind, and compassionate. As our little ones hear about the parable of the lost son, we’ll talk about grace, second chances, and God’s love for us. 🤍

We’ll also continue our springtime curriculum about bugs and crawly things. It will be a fun way to invite curiosity and care for the world God created. 🐞

“But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, will teach you all things and remind you of everything that I have told you.” Our memory verse this month is John 14:26, and it reminds us that we are never left to figure things out on our own. Jesus says that the Holy Spirit will guide, teach, and lead us each day. 🕊️

Throughout the month, our little ones will also learn about different types of birds, nests, and eggs. They’ll continue their understanding of how God lovingly watches over His creation – and cares for each one of us too. They’ll also learn about generosity and the promise of the Holy Spirit as our helper to teach, remind, and stay with us always.

We’re big fans of sensory activities at Planet Kids! 🐢🪷🐟🦆This month’s curriculum on pond ecosystems came to life today as our little ones studied nature through sensory play. Teachers used everything from jello to bubbles to lentils to green “pond water” to help students understand the textures and environment of pond life.

Our little ones helped frogs splash from lily pad to lily pad, dug through rocky terrain, raced rubber duckies, created their own personal mini ponds, caught some pretty sweet fish, and so much more. We LOVE seeing the world through their eyes! 💚
