As the dust settles after the most anticipated two weeks of the summer we are very proud and excited to announce the results our students accomplished at the Stanislaus County Fair.
Fair week is intense! Modesto FFA is very involved and competitive, our advisors and students stepped up to the plate and absolutely crushed it!!

🏆2026 John Thurman Award 🏆
This award goes to the outstanding chapter who receives the most points throughout the entire fair. It factors in many contests and has a breakdown of what percentage each category is worth. We may not have had as many still exhibits as some or worried about being 1st in clean barn…. But
Our students work hard and make sure our area is swept at all times, the animals are taken care of and the pens are clean.
Our main focus is the quality of our projects and when is came to the show ring we made sure our livestock were top notch, and our showman were on point. The results speak for themselves!

We want to extend a gigantic thank you to every person who supported our students and advisors throughout this experience. Parents stepped up over the two weeks to make sure kids were taken care of with food, drinks, and rides to and from the fair.
Community members, Ag booster members and companies who supported our incredible students through the Junior Livestock Auction.
Modesto City Schools and our CTE department as well as the other contributors who helped make our new school farm become a reality. We achieved immediate results with the facility we needed to provide students with these unforgettable opportunities.
