Trident Firearms Academy, LLC

We have finally put up a new class on our website. It is the new “Introduction to Handguns” class. This class is designed for the new, or non, shooters in your family. If you have anyone in your family who is interested in learning how to shoot, from the beginning, this is a good class for them. If you have anyone in your family that may not really be all that into fi****ms, but there are guns in your house, they need to be able to safely handle a firearm. This class is designed for those people.

Instructor to student ratio on the line will be one instructor to every two shooters on the line.

Check it out, it might be right for you and your loved ones.

It was a great day for training yesterday, and I don’t believe the weather could have been any better.

We have updated the website. Here it is!

You may notice some changes, much of that is because Dan has retired, again. Sort of, Dan formally retired from Trident Farms Academy in December, 2025. He still plans to come back and help with some classes, that is why I used the “sort of”.

He is now enjoying more time with his family, including his grandchildren. I look forward to the time when I can do that too.

I intend to continue the tradition of Trident Fi****ms Academy, and everything that we’ve come to stand for in the last 17 years. I look forward to all of you returning to more classes.

KORE Essentials, some of the best belts I’ve ever seen and they were very popular at SHOT today with their free giveaway. Note the line of people, which was the longest line I’ve ever seen for anything at SHOT before. Next, we have OTB boots, they felt really comfortable. I hope to get one for a test evaluation. Also note the boot with the EGA on it. It looks like the Marine Corps has a new boot. 
The crossbow was just for fun.
A new rifle from SIG looked pretty cool. It had a side charging handle and fully ambidextrous lower receiver. They assured me that the upper receiver will fit standard AR lowers.
