The differences in each other makes all the difference in the world.

When I originally wrote down the story over a decade ago, I wrote it down because I thought it was sweet, which it is. But one of the best parts of being a storyteller is a revisiting stories and memories, because there is always a story within the story if you’re open to looking for it. I have found many lessons within this story, and plan to revisit it often to see what else it has to offer.

School starts August 12th at 8:35 am for all students. Campus gates will be open starting at 8:15 for breakfast and entering onto the playground. We look forward to seeing you soon!

❄️🎉 Winter Intersession at Sonoma is a blast! Our scholars get to be creative and learn through tons of fun activities! 🌟 Today, they built spaghetti houses, crafted cozy dinosaur-shaped socks 🦖🧶, explored basic physics with air cannons 🎯, tested their strategy skills with games, and SO much more! We are so excited to see an afternoon full of learning, laughs, and memories! 📚🐬 #MCS4Kids

Did you hear the buzz?! 10 scholars from elementary schools across Modesto City Schools are heading to the Stanislaus County Spelling Bee this week! 🐝 💤 Earlier this month, Fairview Elementary hosted another fantastic spelling bee full of talented spellers, and we are so proud of their sharp spelling skills. ✍️ Congrats to all the winners!🏆 We had the chance to chat with spellers Anneke from Sonoma, and Audree from El Vista, who both made the top 10, to see what it’s like to walk away a winner! After the Stanislaus County Spelling Bee, champion scholars move to the California State Spelling Bee. We wish everyone the best of luck, and we can’t wait to see who gets to go to state!🗣️ 💬 #MCS4Kids #SpellingBee #Champions
