Lost and found is hanging up outside during dismissal today

Please encourage your child to check the lost and found for their missing items. Lost and found is located in the cafeteria.
This is just a reminder about pick up and drop off areas.
BUS ZONE/SPECIAL ED
The bus zone on Orangeburg is for BUSSES ONLY! Please do not park in this area. If your student is in one of the special ed classes and you are dropping off and picking up then we ask that you find a parking spot on the street and walk up to pick up your student.
TK/KINDER GATE
If your student is in any of the kinder classes you can drop off/pick up your student at the kinder gate on Orangeburg. Please DO NOT park in the BUS ZONE to pick up your student.
PULL THRU MAIN ENTRANCE
This area is for all students.
Please make sure to pull all the way up when picking up or dropping off your student. Please remain in your vehicle in this area. If you need to speak to someone in the office please utilize the parking lot in front of the school.
So the "soft opening" of the new pull through and parking lot happened today. I think it's safe to say there was a lot of confusion and even more frustration. I'm just going to try and give some clarification in hopes that it helps.
The new parking lot, parent drop off/pick up is located on Tully Rd. That is where you will be dropping off and picking up your students. That gate is for students and staff. You as a parent/visitor are more than welcome to park in that lot. You will however have to walk around to the double doors on Orangeburg as that is still technically the front entrance.
The old pull through on Orangeburg is now for BUSES and SPECIAL ED ONLY. Please do not try and use that pull through to drop off in the morning or pick up at dismissal. During drop off and dismissal that area is for bus riders and special education students. Our autism students will be able to use that entrance for their drop off and pick up. Parents are asked to park in the surrounding area and walk to the double doors.
The KINDER and TK gate will remain the same. I understand that some of your littles have older siblings and it makes pick up a little trickier. For those situations I suggest maybe having the older sibling pick up the kinder/TK student and walk to the pull through area where you can easily pick them both up together.
The Early Morning Childcare gate at the cafeteria also will remain the same. The times for that gate are 7:15-7:50 any students that arrive after 7:50 will need to use the pull through on Tully Rd.
The Alley Gate will also remain the same as far as I know.
I really hope this helps clear things up a little.

Please encourage your child to check out our lost and found for their missing items!
Friendly reminder about the pull through in the front of the school
PLEASE DO NOT USE THE PULL THROUGH
if you need to pick your student up early, or you need to drop something off to the office or for any other reason that you would need to exit your vehicle and come inside. The pull through is not a place to park. When you do this you block other vehicles that need to get through.
Please encourage your son or daughter to check the lost and found for their missing items. It's getting pretty full.
