Yesterday, Chief Gillespie made a special visit to check on the students' progress with the MPD Low Rider Community Project. The initiative is not only fostering creativity but also building connections within our community. π A big thank you to Chief Gillespie for taking the time to support our students and encourage their efforts in making a positive impact in the community.
Another exciting visitor was Modesto District Representative, Narinder Bahia with Senator Marie Alvarado-Gil's office. She stopped by to present the students and volunteers with certificates of recognition from the California State Senate! ππ

Creativity and learning came together in our Education and Child Development 1/2 classes! π¨π
Students recently designed and created engaging bulletin boards that visually represent lesson plans focused on age-appropriate concepts for young learners. Through this hands-on project, students explored how meaningful displays can capture attention, support learning, and create positive classroom environments for children.
From colorful visuals to interactive ideas, these future educators showcased their creativity, collaboration, and understanding of effective early childhood teaching strategies! ππβ¨
