DCHS Schedule Pick-Up Week is NEXT WEEK, August 10–12 from 10 AM–4 PM!

Rising seniors and juniors attend Monday, rising sophomores Tuesday, and rising freshmen Wednesday.

Before receiving a schedule, parking pass, or Chromebook, students must have their Back-to-School forms completed and all required fees paid. Families will also be able to get help with Infinite Campus, scheduling questions, bus routes, technology pick-up, yearbooks, and student athletic passes.

War Eagle athletes, be sure to check your sport’s start date, time, and location. All fall athletes and a parent/guardian must also attend the mandatory Fall Sports Parent Meeting on Thursday, July 30 at 7:00 p.m. in the auditorium.

Ready to get out of the house?

Davie High School’s STEAM Summer Enrichment Trips continue next week with a trip to Winston-Salem.

We will start the day’s trip at the Clarkson Research Campus, a 200-acre academic and science-and-technology hub in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, operated by the Wake Forest University School of Medicine (WFUSOM). While there, we will hear about their humane animal research practices, the necessity for this type of research, & careers in research. We will also do a walk-through of a variety of species to see animal behaviors, housing, & enrichment. Students will also get to do some hands-on activities to learn more about pathology, DNA, & brain research.

We will then stop at Chick-fil-A for lunch on the way to the Lam Museum of Anthropology where students will learn specifically about Australian Aboriginal culture through a lesson & activity combining history with art. Then, students will have an opportunity to explore the rest of the museum through a scavenger hunt.

Reminder: Registration for the UNC Charlotte School of Engineering STEAM Summer Trip closes Sunday, July 12 at midnight!

This trip is open to students who will attend Davie High School for the 2026–2027 school year. Students will tour engineering spaces, explore different areas of engineering, and take part in a hands-on design challenge.

Register now to reserve your spot. Cap is 30 students, and a waitlist will open once full.

This summer, Davie High School will once again offer its STEAM Summer Enrichment Trip series to all current DHS students (including rising freshmen).
