Mocksville Elementary School Families! We are looking for several people to help welcome our students daily from the car rider line, and buses. If you have any extra time in the morning to come from 7:45-8:10 am, we would love to have you help us brighten our kiddos mornings when they arrive!
Please be sure you are a level 1 or level 2 volunteer (even if you were a level 2 volunteer in years past, please make sure you have re submitted your application as things changed this school year and everyone needs an updated account)

We certainly enjoyed the beautiful snowfall this morning but are glad to see conditions improving throughout the day.

This afternoon, our transportation team consulted with the Department of Transportation regarding road conditions. Based on weather forecasts and continued DOT efforts, Davie County Schools will operate on a 2-hour delay tomorrow, Friday, February 21st.

****Davie County High School will NOT operate its normal late start Friday, but will instead be on a normal Monday - Thursday schedule.

With the help of sunshine, wind, and the hard work of the county DOT crews, we anticipate further improvements. Please continue to use caution when traveling.

As always, thank you for your patience and understanding as we work through what we hope is the final round of winter weather this school year.

Looking forward to seeing everyone in person tomorrow on a 2-hour delay!
