Join us TONIGHT for some great music and fellowship!

The AJHS Wind Symphony was honored to once again provide ceremonial music for our school’s annual Veteran’s Day luncheon today. Freedom is not free and we honor these heroes for their service and sacrifice! 🇺🇸🪖🎖️

We have our Auburn City Schools Jazz “Spooktacular” Concert Monday evening at 5:30 PM at Auburn High School on the beautiful, newly turfed marching band practice field/pavilion. The concert will begin with our own AJHS Jazz Band, followed by performances by the two amazing Jazz Bands at AHS. There will even be a costume contest at the concert sponsored by the Auburn Band Boosters Association!

Bring your picnic blanket, camp chairs, and even your dinner and come enjoy some family-friendly jazz! Kids (and anyone, really) are welcome to wear costumes - the Wine kids will definitely be there in theirs!

We love our admin team and counselors and all the support they provide for our musicians at AJHS. They are some of our most passionate cheerleaders in the arts. It takes a village to make beautiful music!

Our AJHS front office team joined Mr. Wine in proudly wearing the new band shirts today, celebrating the incredible work and spirit of our fine arts programs. Supporting the arts means supporting creativity, discipline, and the confidence our students gain through music. We are all proud of the impact our band program has on our school community and the opportunities it creates for students to grow as artists and leaders.

It was a great night as all of our AJHS band students got to be unofficial marching members for the night! We hope to see all these kids in uniform next year with the AHSMB! Plus, AHS got the victory!

We had a great first week of masterclasses with some of our woodwind sections this week! Big thanks to Mr. Khari Allen Lee (AU) for working with some of our saxophones, Dr. Siobhan Ciulla (AU) for giving an Oboe lesson, and Dr. Virginia Broffitt Kunzer (AU) for sharing with our army of flutes! A great day was had by all!
