This week our students have been diving into the body quadrants and putting all of their medical terminology knowledge into action as we get closer to wrapping up this course in just a couple weeks!

At Coastal Ultrasound Institute, we believe learning should be hands on, interactive, and actually FUN. From games and group activities to real world anatomy discussions, our students are building a deeper understanding of the human body while making the information stick long term.

Watching these future sonographers grow more confident every week has been so exciting, and we can’t wait to see what they accomplish next! 🩺📚

Coastal Ultrasound Institute is looking for pregnant volunteers who are at least 18 weeks along to come be scanned by our ultrasound students under the supervision of registered Sonographers!

Today we’re turning up the fiesta and the physics at Coastal Ultrasound Institute 🎉📚

Our students are learning that behind every great ultrasound image is a little bit of magic… and a whole lot of ultrasound physics. From sound waves traveling faster than your salsa dancing feet to capturing real-time images of the body’s largest artery, it’s all about precision, skill, and just the right amount of energy 😉
