Not only did they impact this campus as staff, but their journey all began as students. Well wishes to this new season of life that retirement brings!

Over a month ago, and we're still over the moon about the 2026 graduation ceremony. We are excited to celebrate this year's graduating class as the LARGEST class in Bishop State history with over 1,000 students graduating and close to 400 students walking across that stage. Last Thursday, over 70 students graduated from the Adult Education Program. This ceremony highlighted the dedication of each student and marks a new beginning in the journey. Keynote Speaker, Director of IT Keidrick Wooten, gave powerful words to encourage the graduates saying "...𝘋𝘰𝘯’𝘵 𝘨𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘶𝘱, 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘥𝘰. 𝘌𝘺𝘦𝘴 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘵, 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘥 𝘩𝘪𝘨𝘩 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘴𝘩....𝘚𝘦𝘦 𝘪𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩!"

On July 30th, join us for A Taste of Things to Come, a centennial culinary celebration and your first look at a year-long celebration for our 100th anniversary. This evening will feature a culinary experience prepared by our Culinary Arts program in collaboration with award-winning guest chefs from across the Gulf Coast, each dish a reflection of where we've been, and a taste of where we're going.
