3. Developmental Studies, known as DS, deals with conditional freshmen and provides the courses in reading and math that a student whose ACT scores were low, but still allows them to come to USA under the condition that they take these remedial courses before starting on their other classes.
4. Office of International Education (OIE) is housed in Meisler Hall. They run the Study Abroad program and also provide support for international travel for the entire campus.
5. English Language Center, known as the ELC, provides non-credit courses for people desiring to have English as a Second Language.
6. Cooperative Education (CP) is also located in Meisler Hall in Career Services. It allows students to combine their classroom studies with a paid work experience in their degree field.
7. The Writing Center, where any student on campus can go to get help with any kind of writing.
