We raised over $1800 for Camp Wheeze-Away, an annual camp for kids with asthma, at our 3rd quarter charity Rookie Tournament! Dr. Druhan Howell from Coastal Allergy & Asthma brought inhaler trinkets! I am so disappointed! I have to postpone my Open House scheduled for this Sat. I know so many of you were looking forward to seeing it and using the space to play the game we love. Our little mahj community has been so supportive and I WILL NOT give up on this project. I am 100% ready to host Mobile’s first mahjong parlor, but unfortunately, I need to find alternate space to lease. My business license is pending and I learned this morning there are possibly requirements for my current leased space (dictated for the change of occupancy to occur) and these requirements could cause lengthy and costly delays. I am not blaming the city. Requirements are requirements. I am just disappointed. Period. I didn’t see this coming and I certainly thought I had found the right home for the parlor. 😫 Give me another week or more to find a new home. Until then, I hope the jokers are abundant for you! 🀄️💕
