We are so excited to announce that the Gulf Coast Steinway Society Competition XII is scheduled for February 13, 2027, at the University of Mobile!

The Winners Recital is scheduled for June 2, 2027, at Carnegie Hall in New York City.

The GCSS Music Competition XI Winner will perform at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall on June 10th at 7:00 PM.

Aaron Perez Pupo - I Place: College Level, Montgomery, AL
Teacher: Dr. Adonis Gonzalez-Matos

Bio:

Aaron Perez is a Cuban pianist trained at top Havana
conservatories. He has won numerous international
competitions, including major first prizes and a Grand
Prix. Currently studying on a full scholarship at Alabama
State University, he also performs a wide variety of genres,
including jazz, and composes mainly classical music.
