“I went through recruitment because I wanted to find genuine friends that I could count on for anything. I wanted to find my future bridesmaids and make South my home away from home. I picked KD because from my very first conversation in the house I truly felt so comfortable and all my conversations were so genuine. The first girl I talked to later became my big and she was one of my biggest reasons for choosing KD. KD feels like home because of the constant laughter that fills the house. I love coming in everyday to find people laying on the couch and talking about everything. I continue to pick KD everyday because of my sisters that make me a better person and are always there for me when I need it. AOT forever💚”

“I first met madison on bid day, but it wasn’t the first time we had talked. During the chaos of finding roommates we reached out to each other on instagram dm of course. We talked a little but didn’t become roommates, however, God knew it was fate by making us reconnect. After bid day we were all trying to find our people and I found Madison and we stuck. We would get ready together for events, which started with the jersey vs jersey shore swap. Between late nights, rants, cookout runs and painting in the study room we became inseparable. I’m forever so grateful to have Madison in my life!!” -Marisa

“The first time I talked to Marisa was actually on instagram when I DM her looking for a roommate! Who knew that message could turn into a lifelong friendship and that Marisa and I would come home to KD together, dancing, and singing together on bid day. And to this day we still continue to do that. Marisa is one of my bestfriends and I’m so grateful to have her in my life! She’s always been there for me as a listening ear, a person to do study sessions with, go on ice cream trips, or even just to call each other to rant. I’m so glad I can call you my friend and I’m so excited to continue to do life with you! love you tons!!”

“Hey everybody!! If you know me you know that I am always down for a car ride, sweet treat, fun drink, or impromptu trips to the beach to watch the sunset! As someone who is a big family person, coming into Kappa Delta I was able to find a family of sisters that I never knew I needed but came at the perfect time! I love being able to walk into the house and there is an immediate smile on my face from the girls that are sitting there and laughing with each other! One thing that I love to do is paint and any type of crafting hobby(if it exists, I have probably tried it). Whether I am doing crafts or painting sheet signs and banners, I love being able to participate in my chapter through something that I love already!! With the friendships, opportunities, and values of Kappa Delta that I have gained, I will forever be grateful!”

I picked Kappa Delta because it felt the most genuine from the beginning. I felt seen, welcomed, and valued the second I stepped foot into kappa delta. KD has shown me that they are the kind of girls I wanted to surround myself with. No matter what, KD feels like home because the values, friendships, and support stay the same. It’s the kind of place where people celebrate your successes, support you during hard times, and always make you feel like you belong. Even after transferring, KD still gives me that same sense of comfort and familiarity that made me fall in love with it in the first place. I continue to pick KD because transferring has shown me that KD is bigger than just one campus or one chapter it’s a lifelong sisterhood. No matter where I go, I know I’ll always have people who understand me and make me feel at home. Choosing KD wasn’t just a one-time decision during recruitment, it’s something I would choose over and over again because of the friendships, memories, and support it has given me. No matter what chapter I’m in, KD will always feel like home, and I’ll always choose KD.”
