🐝 Calling All Incoming Kindergarteners! 🐝

We are excited to welcome our registered, incoming Kindergarten students to our upcoming Kinder Camp! This is a wonderful opportunity for students to become familiar with our school, meet new friends, and get excited about starting Kindergarten.

📅 July 22nd & 23rd
⏰ 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Parents are invited to stay for the first 30 minutes on July 22nd for a brief informational meeting. During this time, families will learn more about our school, meet staff members, and have the opportunity to ask questions before the school year begins.

We can’t wait to welcome our newest students to the hive and help them get ready for a great year ahead! 💙❤️

Today we celebrate an incredible educator, mentor, and friend — Ms. Pope — as she begins her well-earned retirement from MCPSS! 🎉🍎

Since joining our school in 2001, Ms. Pope has made a lasting impact on generations of students and families. She spent 13 wonderful years teaching 5th grade before moving to 4th grade, where she has continued to inspire and encourage students ever since.

Ms. Pope is known for so many special things that made her classroom unforgettable — teaching students how to play chess, planning memorable field trips to Montgomery, bringing learning to life through exciting science experiments, and sharing her love for antiques and history with those around her.

Her dedication, creativity, and care for students have left a legacy that will continue for years to come. Thank you, Ms. Pope, for the countless lives you have touched and the love you poured into our school community.

We wish you all the happiness, relaxation, and adventures retirement has to offer! ❤️🐝💙

This morning we celebrated our amazing 5th graders during their Honors Celebration! We loved recognizing all of their hard work, accomplishments, and successes as they close out their elementary school journey. We are so proud of this special group of students and can’t wait to see all they accomplish in the years ahead!
