The Mobile County Public Schools was well represented by the Denton Magnet and Barton Academy We Build It Better programs at the 2021 Flight Work’s Pumpkin 🎃 Catapult Competition! Students have been building their catapults and learning about research and design, as well as troubleshooting and team building, in preparation for today’s event. These middle school students were awesome!

Congratulations to Denton’s Aces Team for winning 🏆 2nd place.

Semmes Middle School students have been learning about safety and teamwork in Mrs. Powell’s classes. The concluding activity was making pancake art in groups where teams learned how to compromise and revise, when necessary. Great job, Bulldogs!

Baker High School’s Culinary students recently learned how to make homemade biscuits. Mrs. Morgan walked them through each step of the process, where students used only 3 ingredients and experimented with flour and buttermilk ratios. The end result was a great - and delicious- success!
