Ignatius Catholic School seeks to educate the whole child—spiritually, intellectually, socially, morally, and physically while recognizing parents as primary educators. As Catholic educators, faculty members strive to bring children to the realization that they are Christ-personified. Children should be led to understand their dignity and value as persons redeemed by Christ and the value of every

other human being. Children should be encouraged to strive for excellence in the task at hand and to push forward by their own interests and enthusiasm into further realms of knowledge. It is the school’s privilege to assist parents in the education of these future citizens. This is a responsibility the faculty takes on willingly, striving to challenge each child as an individual.

Welcome to our dedicated first grade team, Mrs. Conkle!

Mrs. Mandee Conkle is a lifelong learner, devoted mom, animal lover, and passionate educator who believes relationships are at the heart of everything. She earned her degree in Education and is currently pursuing her Master’s in Elementary Education while teaching.

In addition to teaching, she enjoys pet sitting and fostering dogs, giving them a safe, loving place while they wait for their forever homes. Whether she’s in the classroom or caring for pups, Mrs. Conkle has a heart for helping others grow and thrive.
