We are excited to welcome Coach Brandon Garrett as our new boys head basketball coach. Coach Garrett brings a relentless work ethic, a deep knowledge of the game, and a proven track record of building successful programs both on and off the court. More importantly, he is a man of outstanding character who loves the Lord and is passionate about mentoring young men to grow in faith, discipline, leadership, and integrity. His commitment goes far beyond wins and losses, he is dedicated to developing Godly young men who will make a positive impact in their families, schools, and communities. We are confident that Coach Garrett will be a tremendous blessing to our basketball program and our entire school family. 🏀

Faith Academy is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Color Guard Director to lead and grow a dynamic, student-centered program.

We are looking for an educator and leader who is passionate about developing performers, building a culture of excellence, and collaborating within a thriving band program.

Primary Responsibilities:
* Design, coordinate, and teach all aspects of the color guard program (marching band, winter guard, and auxiliary performances)
* Develop choreography, equipment work, and visual programming aligned with the band’s competitive and artistic goals
* Lead rehearsals, sectionals, and camps with a focus on technique, performance quality, and student growth
* Recruit, train, and retain students of all experience levels
* Collaborate closely with band staff and directors to ensure cohesive show design and ex*****on
* Foster a positive, disciplined, and inclusive team environment
* Coordinate contest preparation, travel, and performances

Qualifications:
* Strong background in color guard instruction, choreography, and performance
* Demonstrated ability to teach and inspire students at varying skill levels
* Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
* Experience with marching band and winter guard programs preferred

Rising Juniors, Macy Mitchell and Paige Holley were selected by our school to attend the HOBY Conference this past weekend in Troy, Alabama.

Each year, 10,000 rising juniors from schools across the nation are chosen to participate in the Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership Seminar (HOBY). HOBY’s mission is to inspire and develop young leaders who are committed to service, leadership, and innovation. Through this experience, students are encouraged to dream big, lead boldly, and make a lasting impact in their communities and beyond.
