Percussion students at the university have the opportunity to experience a myriad of performance opportunities within the music department, including the USA Percussion Ensemble, Steel Band, World Music Ensemble, Wind Ensemble, Symphony Orchestra, Symphonic Band, Jazz Band, Basketball Pep Bands, and the USA Jaguar Marching Band's JAG DRUMLINE.

Congratulations to Simeon Tanner who graduated with his Bachelors in Music Education today! He will be heading to Louisiana State University to pursue his Masters in Percussion Performance with an assistantship in the percussion studio!
Sadly due to the weather we need to cancel our performance at tonight's art walk. Stay dry, everyone, and hope to see you all next year!

Introducing the 2026-2027 Jaguar Drumline!
We had an amazing turnout for auditions yesterday from high school seniors to current USA students. We are also grateful to be able to have auditions inside the BRAND NEW Jaguar Marching Band Complex!
We would also like to thank our chapter of Phi Boota roota for handing registration and logistics for auditions!
More from the Jaguar Marching Band and Jaguar Drumline will be on the way this coming fall. We can’t wait!

This past Wednesday we had the pleasure of welcoming the Robertsdale High School Percussion Ensemble to perform for our studio and have the opportunity to be coached by our professors Dr. Nozny and Mr. Greenwood!
Our studio also had the opportunity to give the students a sneak peek into some of our percussion ensemble work for this semester.
Congratulations to our guest performers, we are very proud of the work that all the students have put in to make some wonderful music!
