Students will get hands-on experience rotating through amazing programs like culinary, advertising design, construction, automotive, cosmetology, welding, and more!

Ms. Adams is the “BEST”media specialist🥰

Being a media specialist at a K-8 school can be a challenge because of the varying needs of such a wide range of students. Demetra Adams, Media Specialist at Chastang-Fournier K-8, calls it "the most fun job in the building" and works hard to make sure her students find the library fun, too. "I realized my students had anxiety about the library because some of them struggle with reading independently," said Adams, a 19-year educator who has been at Chastang-Fournier since 2019. "So I'm trying to make this a fun, accepting and inviting space, so they'll want to come in." A Mobile native who started her career as a third-grade teacher, she also coaches esports and robotics, two programs that she helped start at Chastang-Fournier.

Our Chastang-Fournier K-8 family is having an absolute blast celebrating the end of the 2025-2026 school year at our Spring Fling!

From bouncing on the inflatables to cool treats from Kona Ice, delicious food truck eats, and great music, the energy today is incredible! Our K-5th graders started the morning off strong! Our 6th-8th graders are up next!

We love seeing all these smiles and celebrating all the hard work our students put in this year. ♥️💛🦅✨

Way to go, Jayce!

Jayce Ridgeway, a first-grader at Chastang-Fournier K-8, loves learning new things. This year, he's learned more about consonants and vowels and he puts that knowledge to use by reading to his little sister and helping his classmates. He also likes to play football and basketball and he's looking forward to going to the trampoline park this summer.

Last Friday was such a special day as we celebrated our 5th graders during their Transition Program Breakfast! 🚂✨

The morning was filled with "Falcon Pride" as our students prepared to take their next big step into middle school. We were honored to have Miya Adams from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers join us as our guest speaker, sharing inspiring words to encourage our students for the journey ahead.
From heartfelt "Falcon Memories" and beautiful poetry to celebrating student achievements during the awards presentation, it was a wonderful opportunity to reflect on how much these students have grown.

A huge thank you to our faculty and staff and the Falcon Band for making this event so memorable. We are so proud of our 5th graders and can’t wait to see all the amazing things they will achieve in 6th grade and beyond!
