Our Technology Teams faired well at this year's Faulkner State Tech Fair! Now, we just have to get a trophy case to house them all. :)
I am very proud of all my Castlen Technology team members. We attended the Faulkner State Tech Fair last week . They competed in Hardware and Robotics, Video Broadcasting, Coding, and 3D Printing. We had 15 individuals/groups that placed 1st, 2nd, or 3rd in those categories, and 5 Honorable Mention Awards. We also won 1st place in Literacy for Levels 1 and Level 2, and Honorable Mention in Level 2. Level 1 is for 3/4 graders. Level 2 is for 5/6 graders. In Computer Programming (Coding) we swept Levels 1 and 2 winning 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in both levels. A HUGE thank you goes to my two favorite teachers that helped me pull this off. They are Kelly Evans and Lisa Wood. We had a great day! I also want to thank our principal, Pam Adams for all her support of our technology programs.
If any of our parents that attended would like to share pictures please do so.
