It’s a GREAT day to be a Shining Star! 🌈⭐️

After working hard on the ACAP, Ms. Melton’s class did some hands-on learning with Ms. Burnett! The students were challenged to use linear models to determine unit fractions and fractional relationships. Students used cuisenaire rods to explore how many unit fractions could be made with the given models, and then worked to find equivalent fractions. Great work Ms. Melton’s class!

Ms. Cazalas’ first grade class had a magical day full of fun and a little bit of mischief! The students made their very own binoculars to keep a close watch for sneaky Leprechauns.
They enjoyed reading "The Luckiest Leprechaun: The Tail-Wagging Tale of Friendship", which reminded us all about kindness and friendship 🐾🌈
But the biggest surprise of the day? During P.E., a Leprechaun snuck in and caused some silly chaos! 🍀
To celebrate, they had Lucky Leprechaun Punch, delicious green cupcakes, and a special "pot of gold" treat to top it all off!

Mrs. Fields' Kindergartners enjoyed
a "green" snack for St. Patrick's Day.
During ART class, the children were able to paint Leprechauns with Ms. Davis. We were so "LUCKY" to have so much fun!
