Happy Monday, everbody! 😁

Here’s another clip with my band Heavy Rotation. The song is “Everything Zen” by Bush. This one’s fun as all hell. We definitely change it up a good bit from the original, which makes it all the more excited. 😮‍💨😁

The fun thing about being in a band that does covers is that you can put your own spin on a song and/or parts of a song, or you can do it note-to-note like the original. I always go with the former because there are no rules or limits when it comes to musical expression with your instrument of choice. I get the chance to sharpen my skills and develop new ideas instead of just miming the same parts over and over again. It’s all about taking risks, and the worst risk you could take is not taking one at all. 😊

I’M BACK! 😱

After a rather long hiatus, I’m back and ready for action. 💪 For my first video of 2026, I figured I’d take on Aaron Sterling’s (formerly ; he deleted his socials a while back for reasons nobody knows) attempt at modulating and “funkifying” “Back In Black” by AC/DC. This was so much fun to do, as it legit changes the feel of the song and challenges you to adapt & be more creative than before. 🧠

Happy Hump Day, everybody! 👋

I did a little review of my ddrum Dominion Birch a little over a year ago (I mentioned my previous band Wild Fire; I left Wild Fire last February). I still got it and sounds absolutely amazing. Ddrum still makes it in Birch Standard (with a wrap finish) and Birch Ash (in the video; gloss lacquer over a veneer of ash), and I highly recommend checking it out.
