Eligible school-age children can receive a one-time payment of $120 per child in grocery benefits during the summer through the Alabama SUN Bucks program. Attention incoming 6th grade parents: We want to remind you of the two registration opportunities next week. We hope to see you on Monday, 6/8, from 8 AM to 1 PM, or on Tuesday, 6/9, from 3 PM to 6 PM. Please see the attached flyers for additional information about registration and registration fees.

Registration for the 2026-2027 school year is quickly approaching! Phillips will hold on-site registration on the following dates:
Monday, 6/1: 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM (8th Grade)
Tuesday, 6/2: 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM (7th Grade)
Wednesday, 6/3: 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM (Make-Up)
Monday, 6/8: 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM (6th Grade) OR Tuesday, 6/9: 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM (8th Grade)

Attention students: Want to come to school comfortably the last three days of school? Help support our school by paying $10 to be out of uniform this Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday! Please follow the out of uniform guidelines.

Parents/Guardians,
Current 6th and 7th grade students will be issued their summer reading novel before the last day of school. ALL students will complete the REQUIRED summer reading by Aug. 10th. Look closely at the grade-level assignments for due dates. Students will use their summer reading novel during the first weeks of school.

Upcoming 7th Grade: G. Korman’s The Unteachables
Upcoming 8th Grade: H. G. Sloan’s Counting by Sevens and
Foster’s How to Read Literature Like a Professor for Kids
