Park Rangers Thought Someone Put Spaghetti In Road, Residents Shocked To Learn Gruesome Truth 04/12/2016

Hmm.. I'll ask about this while I'm here in Texas. How odd!

Park Rangers Thought Someone Put Spaghetti In Road, Residents Shocked To Learn Gruesome Truth Park rangers were patrolling Eisenhower State Park when they uncovered a strange substance littering the back roads of the large park. At first glance they thought it was hamburger meat, or maybe spaghetti. Upon closer inspection they were shocked and perplexed over what they saw. It turns out tho..…

I was lucky enough to take my very first geo courses with Dr. Sebastian before he retired a few years ago. He and Ms. Jordan are the reason I fell in love with Geography. He always had the best stories!

If you haven't been, visit the Glenn Sebastian Nature Trails sometime.

Dr. Glenn Sebastian, former chair of earth sciences, professor emeritus and a beloved member of the University community, died this morning. He came to USA in 1967 as an instructor in the department of geology and geography. Following retirement in 2008, he continued to teach part-time until 2014. Afterward, he remained involved by giving talks for the Odyssey program and attending the department of earth sciences annual student awards ceremony. In honor of Dr. Sebastian's four decades of inspiring USA students in the study of geography, USA dedicated the Glenn Sebastian Nature Trail on Aubrey Green Drive in 2012. Funeral arrangements are pending.
