Hello everyone, we have received many messages from parents in reference to the change from PTSA to PTO. This was not a PTSA decision nor was there a meeting on this. I would like to make that clear so no one feels left out. This was a school decision. We have been directed to send any parents that have questions to Mr. Poiroux.

REMINDER: Any current junior who wants to have their senior portrait made before the end of the school year can sign up for an appointment on May 18. The sign-up sheet can be accessed by scanning the QR code in the photo or by clicking the link below. Please read all of the information included on the sign-up page. Students will also have opportunities to have their senior portrait made after school starts in the fall.

🚨 BAKER COMMUNITY🚨
It is currently election time for the next two year terms for board positions. Baker High School PTSA will be in search of all board positions for a two year commitment; President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary.

‼️PROM ANNOUNCEMENT‼️
Current Juniors and Seniors. This is copied from Baker High School Hornets Mobile, Al so if you have questions please direct them there.

The Junior/Senior Prom will be held Friday, March 31, 2023 from 8pm-11:30pm at the Mobile Convention Center. Students are expected to be in a full tuxedo, including jacket and shoes, or a dress that touches the floor.

The cost to attend Prom is $50. Students may pay this fee Feb 6-10 during their lunch wave at the entrance to the cafeteria. Students that pay during February will receive a Prom t-shirt that will be distributed the week of Prom. Students may also pay March 21-24 during their lunch wave but will not receive a t-shirt. March 24 will be the last day to pay the Prom fee.

The Baker Prom is only for current Baker juniors and seniors. Anyone that is not a current Baker junior or senior can only attend if a Baker junior or senior completes the required guest form and pays the fee. The Guest Fee is $30. The guest will only be allowed to enter Prom with the Baker student whose name was on the completed guest form. The guest fee can be paid at the same time the completed guest form is returned, Feb 6-10 or Mar 21 – 24.

You can print the guest form from the Baker website or pick up a blank copy during the payment times.

Baker High School students will have a Virtual Learning Day on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 due to Baker High School being an Election Polling Site. Students are not to report to campus.
