ACCEL is currently in the open enrollment phase for the 2022-2023 school year. We are accepting applicants on a first-come basis. To have the best opportunity to enroll for the 2022-2023 school year, please get your applications in as soon as possible.

ACCEL is an Alabama Public School. Students’ previous credits from a public school will transfer to ACCEL. Graduates will earn a public school diploma through the state of Alabama, which will be accepted by any postsecondary institution or employer.

WHAT IS A CHARTER SCHOOL?
Charter schools are public, tuition-free schools open to any student who wishes to attend. Charter schools allow parents, organizations or community groups to restore, reinvent and reenergize public school systems. Charter schools are designed, tailored and governed by each local community rather than by a central bureaucracy.

We are still accepting applications for high school students who:

1) desire to accelerate their high school experience, while earning college credits early or engaging in career/workforce development

2) seek to re-engage and recover lost academic credits through pathways designed to help you graduate on (or close to) time

3) have life circumstances that require them to be night school scholars... ACCEL has an evening school option for non-traditional students who work or have other responsibilities during the day.
