🏆 Week 1 of Learning League is in the books! 🏆

What an incredible first week at ER Dickson's Summer Learning League! Our ER Dickson and Mary B. Austin champions showed up ready to learn, grow, and compete both in the classroom and through teamwork. From building reading skills to strengthening math strategies, our students have been working hard and having fun along the way.

A huge thank you to our dedicated coaches, teachers, staff, and families for helping make this first week a success. We are proud of the effort, enthusiasm, and determination our champions have displayed each day.

The season is just getting started, and we can't wait to see what the next three weeks have in store. Keep bringing that winning attitude, Learning League champions!

Excited to host Summer Literacy and Numeracy Camp-E.R. Dickson Elementary and Mary B. Austin Elementary schools beginning tomorrow, June 1st through June 25 from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm.

This year's theme is "Learning League".

Students will be provided breakfast and lunch, they may bring a snack.

Drop off: 7:50 am- 8:00 am
Pick up: 3:00 pm- 3:15 pm

Students must wear appropriate clothing-no slides or crocs.

Today we celebrated the retirement of four amazing women whose dedication, compassion and commitment have left a mark on education. Together, these women have over 100 years of experience in education. Thank you all for your years of service and dedication to our children and the love that you have poured into education. We wish you well for the exciting journey ahead!

Incoming Elementary School students (K-5, K-6 for Baldwin County, AL) are encouraged
to read 10 books over the summer to win a Free Child's Admission ticket to the 2026
Greater Gulf State Fair. We are excited to continue this program to promote literacy in
the Greater Gulf States! One lucky reader will receive an Ultimate Family Four Pack!
That pack includes four Admission tickets (for any age) and four Unlimited Ride

Coach Ryan’s 4th and 5th grade P.E. classes enjoyed their bowling unit. Students were tasked with creating their own score sheets and choosing their own bowling distance for both success and a challenge. We are proud to see perseverance propelling progress here at ERD! Go Tigers!

VOTING DAY-TUESDAY MAY 19th
Tomorrow is a voting day, and our school will serve as a voting site. To ensure the safety of our students, all voting will take place in the gym area only.
