What a great Week 3 in Learning League! ๐
From Roll and Read activities and STEM coaster challenges to kickball number fluency, music with rhythm sticks, and so much more, our champions stayed engaged, learned new skills, and had fun along the way. Weโre proud of their hard work and canโt wait to finish the summer strong!

Our champions enjoyed a visit from Buster the Safety Bus, where they learned important school transportation safety rules and enjoyed a fun story. Thank you for helping keep our students safe! ๐

Our students had the wonderful opportunity to welcome the Distinguished Young Woman, Nikita Chincholkar. She shared the joy of reading and spoke about the importance of the five pillars: Be Healthy, Be Involved, Be Studious, Be Ambitious, and Be Responsible.
Thank you for inspiring our students through your leadership, kindness, and commitment to making a positive difference. We are grateful for the example you set and the encouragement you provided to our future leaders!

๐ต๏ธโโ๏ธ๐ Ms. Tolbert and Ms. Woodall's students put their detective skills to the test today!
Using clues from the text, our young investigators worked together to make inferences and solve the mystery of who stole the painting. Students gathered evidence, analyzed details, and used critical thinking to support their conclusions.
Learning is always more exciting when there's a mystery to solve!

We had a wonderful visit from the Mobile Public Library at ER Dickson! Our students were excited to share their reading skills, read books aloud, and learn all about this year's summer reading challenge, "Unearth a Story!" ๐๐ฆ
Be sure to check your child's book bag for important information that came home about the summer reading program. We can't wait to see all the stories our young readers discover this summer!

๐ Week 1 of Learning League is in the books! ๐
What an incredible first week at ER Dickson's Summer Learning League! Our ER Dickson and Mary B. Austin champions showed up ready to learn, grow, and compete both in the classroom and through teamwork. From building reading skills to strengthening math strategies, our students have been working hard and having fun along the way.
A huge thank you to our dedicated coaches, teachers, staff, and families for helping make this first week a success. We are proud of the effort, enthusiasm, and determination our champions have displayed each day.
The season is just getting started, and we can't wait to see what the next three weeks have in store. Keep bringing that winning attitude, Learning League champions!
