Two of our faculty, Christy Shaw and Eleanor Odom, traveled to Oklahoma City this week to attend the International Nursing Association for Clinical Simulation and Learning (INACSL26) Simulation Conference. While there, Ms. Shaw represented our team by presenting our homegrown solution, Gloved Hand Incision and Drainage (I&D) Model. This solution was web published on the National League for Nursing (NLN) website!

Boys and girls currently in grades 5th through the 8th can attend a Safe Sitter class with CPR and meet new friends.
There are several class dates to choose from.
All classes take place in the USA Health Simulation Building on the University’s campus.

Our next GCHSC Workshop: Advancing Excellence in Clinical Simulation is now open for registration and abstract submissions, with continuing education units to be provided.

Abstracts for posters and podium presentations are due by July 31, 2026.

Early bird registration is available until September 1, 2026, and group discounts are offered.

Dr. Penni Watts PhD, RN, CHSE-A, ANEF, FNAP, FSSH, FAAN will be our keynote speaker, and her presentation is not to be missed.
