Remember, sometimes it ain't about having the most expensive tools but how you play with them. Just like in business—it's more about how you connect with others through your own style, not just the tools you buy.

Ever noticed your son’s hands sore after a church gig? Here’s a simple tip that works wonders!

1️⃣ Grip Tip: Instead of a tight fist, place that drumstick between the thumb and index finger. Wrap the other fingers gently. It's like a gentle hug for the sticks. Keeps hands relaxed, not like they're death-gripping the last cookie in the jar!

2️⃣Watch Wrist: Encourage them to keep their wrists moving naturally while drumming. Like they're shaking off some stubborn Play-Doh. It keeps stress away from their wrists.

3️⃣ Stay Pain-Free and Relax: If he’s playing and those hands feel like they're doing the crab claw, it’s a sign! Tell him to relax. Seriously, just tell them to say, "relax." It's like magic for their brain, easing tension instantly.

Hey everyone,

Got some advice about hand pain from drumming—it's all about that grip! In the beginning, I used to clinch those sticks like I was arm wrestling. Not good. But changing your grip can really help.

A lot like when you're brainstorming ideas for a business. Tinker here, adjust there, and boom, suddenly it flows. Little changes can bring about big results. Keep those hands happy and that business thriving!

Brainstorming content for Kingdom Drummers Collective . Confession, I haven't been the best at keeping the content flowing, yet I'm working to change that.

I realize even if you didn't do something in well in the past, it doesn't mean you can't change today. This is . Sometimes you will have days where you may not practice your drumming or do it consistently, but that doesn't make you a bad person and neither does it mean you will always be like that. Change starts today, not yesterday.

Self- evaluation is key to growth and unless we take the time to stop and see our weak areas, we will never see what we need to learn. Sometimes in our self-evaluation we can become over critical of ourselves and therefore stunt our growth and stop progressing. Here is a tip, take a look at your weaknesses and make a decision to get better each day, but don't focus so much on them that you get stuck. Give yourself room to grow and remember your strengths. This applies in your drumming and in life
