Academy of Craft Training - Mobile

Our graduating seniors that signed to go to work with an ACT partnering contractor last week earned another certification this week! They all attended an 8-hour 3M Fall Protection certification class this week as they are preparing to start work on June 8th! Also a BIG shoutout to FabArc Steel Supply, Inc. for donating the materials needed to make this happen!!!

🎓 Signing Day just took on a whole new meaning in Mobile County.

On May 1, 2026, 59 high school seniors from 12 Mobile County high schools made it official — signing commitments with 15 partnering contractors to launch their careers on June 8th, right after graduation.

No gap year. No uncertainty. A direct pathway from diploma to career.

This is the Academy of Craft-Mobile and AIDT partnership in action — connecting Alabama's next generation of skilled workers with real employers, real opportunities, and a future built on purpose.

These students didn't just graduate. They arrived.

Workforce development doesn't wait for tomorrow when the right partnerships are in place today. This is what career readiness looks like — and Alabama is leading the way.
