The joys of the holiday season has started at Watch Me Grow Child Development Center, Inc. On behalf of Mr. Henry and Mrs. Hazel Gardner, THANK YOU to our AWESOME STAFF, parents and students who are our greatest gifts! Thank you to all of our parents who took the time to shower all of our staff with heartfelt Christmas gifts and holiday cheer! We even had an awesome lunch today which was prepared by Wingfield’s BBQ!

Our FUN FRIDAY activity for March 28 was our “CRAZY SOCK DAY!” Thank you to all our students and staff who participated! All of the crazy socks were really creative! Our Pre-K Class had a SOCK HOP DANCE - where we danced in our socks 🧦 while learning to hand-jive, do the twist, Hokey Pokey and even a Dinosaur 🦕 Stomp Dance (our animal for the month). We had fun and good exercise while learning these cool moves!

Thank you to all of our parents/guardians who helped with their child’s posters and dressed them as their assigned influential African American for Black History Month! They did an AWESOME JOB on their speeches….👏These are our future leaders and we must prepare them now! ❤️🖤💛💚

Watch Me Grow will REMAIN CLOSED for Thursday and Friday, January 23-January 24, 2025 based on the current weather and road conditions. We're making preparations to resume school on Monday, January 27th at 7:00 am. Stay safe and warm!

Good Evening 😃 Watch Me Grow! This message serves as an important announcement on behalf of our Director, Mrs. Hazel Gardner:
As a reminder, WMG was CLOSED on today, Monday, Jan. 20th for Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr Holiday. In addition,due to the projected forecast of snow accumulation, WMG will be CLOSED on Tuesday, Jan. 21st as well. We will update you on Wednesday, Jan 22nd status by Tuesday evening (rule of thumb: if MCPSS is closed /opened so are we). Please take all the necessary precautions to stay safe and warm.
