We wrapped up the school year with our teacher luncheon, “Dipping Out to Summer.” ☀️💙🤍
As we officially head into summer break, we want to give a heartfelt thank you to our PTO President, Colleen Gould, for her incredible leadership over the last two years. She has played such a pivotal role in making sure our teachers feel supported, celebrated, and appreciated in so many thoughtful ways.
We are also so grateful to everyone who worked alongside her to help grow and strengthen our PTO. The love and support poured into our school community does not go unnoticed.
St. Mary’s teachers are officially on summer break, and we are ending this year feeling very loved and very thankful!

This is such a great way to support not just the St. Mary’s community, but the community surrounding our beautiful school! Special thanks to our students, Clark, Yaya, and Ari, for contributing to the efforts!

As we continue sharing our staff for the 2026–2027 school year, we could not possibly do so without recognizing one of the most familiar and beloved faces of St. Mary’s.
Mrs. Celeste Cook-Lowe will be continuing in her role as our Office Clerk this upcoming school year.
A proud St. Mary’s alumna and a McGill-Toolen graduate, Mrs. Cook is truly woven into the fabric of our school community. The 2026–2027 school year marks her 30th year at St. Mary’s - a remarkable milestone that speaks to her dedication and love for this school!
For so many of our families, she is one of the very first faces they see and the steady presence they come to know and trust. Her warmth, consistency, and care have made a lasting impact on generations of students, parents, and staff.
To know St. Mary’s is to know Mrs. Cook. Her dedication to this school is unmatched, and the role she plays in keeping everything running smoothly each day does not go unnoticed!
We are incredibly grateful for the legacy, heart, and unwavering commitment she brings to our St. Mary’s family!

Before the school year came to a close, our 7th graders enjoyed an amazing field trip filled with learning, fun, and memories together!
Students experienced a dolphin cruise, enjoyed a picnic on the beach, and explored the Destin History and Fishing Museum, where they learned more about the area’s rich coastal history, marine life, and fishing industry. Experiences like these help connect classroom learning to the real world in meaningful ways.
Just as importantly, this trip gave students time to strengthen friendships, build community, and grow together before stepping into their role as the leaders of our school next year. Shared experiences like these help create the trust, connection, and teamwork that make a strong class community!

Even as summer break begins, our teachers are continuing to grow and learn so they can better serve every student who walks through our doors. 📚💙🤍
This week, our faculty spent time learning more about differentiating instruction and how to best meet the needs of all learners in the classroom. At St. Mary’s, we are committed to helping every child feel supported, challenged, and successful in their own unique way.
A special thank you to The Bailey Group for providing such meaningful and valuable professional development for our teachers.

A big congratulations to recent St. Mary’s graduate Garrett Kilburn as he competes this weekend at a national diving competition with Port City Dive! 🌊💙🤍
Garrett and two other athletes traveled to Orlando, Florida for the competition, where he will compete in the 1 meter dive event. We are so proud to see our Mustangs pursue their passions and represent our community so well.
Good luck, Garrett. Your St. Mary’s family is cheering you on!

Our 8th graders hold such a special place in our hearts. 💙🤍
Each and every one of these students has contributed something meaningful to our school community through their leadership, friendships, faith, generosity, service, humor, talents, and the unique gifts they brought to St. Mary’s each day. Sending them off to high school this week was not easy, but we hope they always know that St. Mary’s will forever be home to them. ✝️
During our celebration, we had the opportunity to honor each student individually, hear heartfelt student speeches, and recognize those who maintained a 4.0 average throughout middle school. They also put their generosity into action by presenting the class gift of a new set of lockers for the middle school hallway!
We were also proud to see the St. Mary’s Men’s Club present the Peter J. Cunningham Award to John Perniciaro and Olivia Kahalley for the example they have set within our school community.
To the Class of 2026, we wish you so much love, success, and many blessings as you begin this next chapter. Once a Mustang, always a Mustang. 🎓

We are officially wigging out over the end of another wonderful school year. 🎉💙🤍
Our teachers brought the fun to afternoon carline today with colorful wigs and lots of laughs, but beneath all the silliness is a heart full of gratitude for this incredible school community.
We still have many special end of the year moments and photos to share, but before the year officially comes to a close, we simply want to say thank you. Thank you to our families for trusting us with your children, supporting our mission, showing up for our school, and helping make St. Mary’s such a joyful and faith filled place to learn and grow.
This year has been full of memories, milestones, laughter, learning, and love, and we are so grateful you were part of it with us.

Soaked with success!
Mrs. Brabner and Ms. Wallace promised their second graders that if they met their MAP goals for the year, they could dump water on their heads… and these students made sure to earn every splash! 🎉💙🤍
Nothing says “hard work pays off” quite like celebrating academic growth with laughter, teamwork, and a teacher splash zone! We are so proud of these students for the dedication and growth they showed all year long!
