Congratulations to Zelma Murray Frederick ‘04 for being honored as the 2023 Sustaining Member of the Year by the Junior League of Baton Rouge! Zelma has forged an impressive career path since her undergraduate days at Spring Hill College, and she continues to lead the way in the legal field as Managing Member at McGlinchey Law Firm's Baton Rouge office. We applaud her commitment to the law and her leadership to engage law students through the firm’s Summer Associate program!

We want to congratulate Megan Powe, the new Chief Operating Officer of Carondelet St. Joseph's Hospital! Megan graduated from Spring Hill College in 2011 with her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and joined Carondelet Health Network in November 2021. She is well respected for her leadership and contributions to Carondelet's growth, physician recruitment, marketing, and business development initiatives.

What an incredible afternoon! Dr. Jennifer and Chuck Wootten recently opened their home in Atlanta to host a Presidential Welcome Reception for Spring Hill College. Thank you, Chuck and Jennifer '86, for helping bring us all together for this special time!

Calling all Spring Hill College alumni! As we remember what it was like to prepare for finals week, let's take a moment to offer up our prayers for the students who are preparing now. Congratulations to Kerri Ebanks ‘17, who was recently named Digital Content Manager for the Office of Public Affairs for the U.S. Department of Energy. Keri graduated from Spring Hill College with a B.A. in journalism and was most recently the digital director for United States Representative Sean Patrick Maloney.

Judge Jill Phillips '96 and Judge George Zoghby '81 along with attorneys Alexandra Garrett '04 and Christopher Williams '09 will return to The Hill this evening to participate in a moot court hosted by Spring Hill College's Pre-Law Society. SHC students will argue a hypothetical Supreme Court case before the distinguished alumni. The event is at Byrne Hall at 6 p.m. and is open to the public.

Congratulations to Ellie Ramey ‘97, who was recently named Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Kinedyne LLC, a leading cargo control solutions manufacturer. Ellie attended Spring Hill College on a full basketball scholarship, earning her Business Administration and Management degree. She is pursuing a Master of Business Administration here on The Hill, with expected completion in 2023.
